When Bernado Chua was a child his Chinese grandparents taught him about a mushroom called ganoderma and the many health benefits it offered. Chua was impressed and decided he would tell as many people as possible about ganoderma. When he was hired by the Philippines based multi-level marketing company Gano Excel, he got the opportunity to do just that.
The company sold a wide range of ganoderma infused consumable products including coffees, teas and capsules. Chua quickly mastered the multi-level marketing concept and within a few years helped to expand their operations to Hong Kong, Canada and the U.S.
According to The Street, a few years later Berndao Chua moved to California and became Gano Excel U.S.A.’s president. He quickly developed a team of hundreds of independent marketing agents that marketed the products all across North America.
The company was called ORGANO GOLD™. He also sold his ganoderma infused products under the Coffee Connoisseur brand name. Chua also sponsored research into the ganoderma mushroom and worked with the best organic farmers to ensure he had the best ganoderma products possible. Educating people about ganoderma has long been Chua’s goal. So he made a special effort to make people aware of all the things ganoderma mushrooms could do. The brand grew rapidly as consumer couldn’t seem to get enough of the products and the marketing agents made a great profit.
The healthy bioactive coffees, teas and other products the company offered are ideal for people looking to live a healthier lifestyle. In 2015 Chua decided to change the company’s name to ORGANO™, but still marketed nutritious ganoderma infused consumables at very affordable prices.
Today Philippines native Bernardo Chua is celebrated as one of the Pacific Rim’s most successful businessmen. His company has won ‘Direct Sales Company of the Year‘ five times and has also won People’s Choice and National Shoppers Choice awards. To him the most meaningful was the Dangal ng Bayan Award for Business and Industry he won in 2014.
