From the Baseball Field to Changing Lives: One USHealth Group Worker’s Story

It was Randy’s dream to become a baseball major league pitcher just like his idol Nolan Ryan. He dared to follow his dream in high school and actually thought he was about to blow out, until the unfortunate happened. Randy suffered a shoulder injury and had to undergo surgery. At this point, his pitches were much slower and could no longer be cheered by his fans like he did. He was no longer useful to the team.

The drive and enthusiasm to become like his idol did not fade, not even a bit. Randy proceeded to college and secured a job as an insurance salesperson. He became dedicated to his mentor, and within 12 months of working, he was making more than any other graduate in his class. Learn more on linkedin.com about US Health Group.

However, all this changed in 2012 when he met Troy McQuagge, the CEO USHealth Group, who urged him to join his company. Randy admits that moving to a new firm was not easy, but it is a decision he does not regret. Today, he is the Satellite Division Advisor at USHealth Group where he is still doing what he does best – caring for people and doing what is right.

The USHealth Group is known to roll out projects that focus on social impact. Since Randy joined, the company has grown exponentially. It now handles projects over 10 times bigger than when it started. Some of the most notable projects include the partnership between USHealth Advisors and Phoenix of New Orleans (PNOLA). The organization facilitated the rebuilding of homes in some of the most affected regions by Hurricane Katrina.

Another great project by USHeath Group is the Helping Other People Everyday (H.O.P.E) program. All team members in the company are contracted independently to make a positive impact in the society. Through this program, the USHealth Group has donated shoes, clothes, baby formula, and other essential supplies to The Crisis Nursery, a non-profit children’s home in Scottsdale, Arizona. The company has also donated over $25,000 to HOPEKids Arizona, a non-profit community that supports families with children who have cancer and other severe infections.
